Activities at Lonehollow are in keeping with our very own full circle concept. You will learn skills from head to tail and bow to stern. Horseback is your passion?  Then why not assist LH wranglers with feeding and grooming.  Take responsibility for a horse named Remington and clean his hooves, comb his tail, saddle and ride to a remote overnight camp and find fresh water in a spring fed pool with full understanding of what it takes to sustain the life of this healthy and majestic animal. 

The Lonehollow Philosophy is “give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life.”

Lonehollow offers a variety of classes from high energy activities such as mountain boarding, mountain biking, and climbing to activities that take patience and practice such as riflery and archery. The program also features classes to expand campers appreciation of the arts.

At the heart of all that we do, our guides create a positive environment where campers know they belong and are encouraged all along the way. We search high and low for just the perfect guides to lead each activity.

Teamwork
The Trackers and Explorers, crews play an important part in the program. On opening night new campers draw for their crew, which will become a second family, a close group of friends working together for a common goal. Crews build camaraderie, teamwork, leadership and a immediate sense of belonging.

Evenings at Lonehollow
Something different happens every night at Lonehollow. The evening program begins after dinner. In the previous summer Lonehollow campers had evenings filled with music, crew games, campouts, carnivals, dances, softball tournaments and skit nights.
