Clayton and Meg Clark
Founders / Executive Directors
Meg and Clayton dreamed of creating a unique camping experience that would bring children back to the simplicity and enjoyment of life outdoors while bringing out the leadership potential in each person. Meg's love for camp began over 30 years ago. Her knowledge and understanding of camping comes from her years as a camper, counselor, Assistant Director and over seven years directing Waldemar. Clayton, an attorney by trade, brings a love of the outdoors, developing the full potential of land and bringing out the talents of those around him. Meg and Clayton are blessed with two daughters, Addie and Emmy and two golden retrievers, Honey and Teddy.

 

Trina Nichols
Office Manager
After a 17 year banking career in Houston, Trina and her family relocated to Hunt, fulfilling a longtime dream of living in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.  She joined the Lonehollow team as the Office Manager in early 2007.  Trina manages the office and is likely the person you will speak to most regularly as you enroll your camper and have questions about getting them ready for camp. 
 
 
 
Chris Luby
Boys Camp Director
Chris brings a creative spark to the program at Lonehollow. Chris is actively creating, developing and expanding the scope of the Lonehollow camp experience through new activities and evening programs. “It's hard to remember a summer that I wasn't at camp” Chris spent his summers and winters at camp. Summers at the YMCA of the Rockies, Camp El Har, Constantine, and winters at Camp Cherokee. In addition to being a camper as a young man Chris has spent six summers at Camp La Junta. Chris served as a cabin counselor, videographer and his last summers assisting with the program. Chris enjoys the outdoors, mountain boarding, backpacking, and camping.

Chris has a bachelor's degree in communications / psychology from Howard Payne University. Chris is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow Aina Topa Hutsi lodge, and is involved in scouting efforts locally.

Chris and his golden retriever River live in Kerrville.
